ALL Adventists 30 years and older are needed to join irrespective of diet or health status. It is essential to have the diversity of our members, otherwise we cannot do the study. This study does NOT compare Adventists with the general population. The purpose is to understand what factors increase or decrease the risk of disease and quality of life. Factors such as: various foods, soy, activity, sunlight, heredity, Sabbath, spirituality etc., will be evaluated. This health study will be one of the most important of this century and will have benefit to billions around the world. The more participants the greater the impact.
