Hygiene and Baby Kits urgently needed.  With the earthquakes in Haiti, Church World Service urgently needs all kits immediately.  Please bring completed Kits or components of any kits to the Church Women United World Day of Prayer on Friday, March 5, 2010.

Hygiene kits

            One hand towel approximately 16” X 28” (no finger tip or bath towels)

            One wash cloth

            One bar of soap (bath size in wrapper)

            One wide mouth tooth comb

            One toothbrush (in original package)

            One nail clipper (no metal files or emery boards)

            Six band aids                                                                                            

Do not add toothpaste to the Hygiene Kit.  Toothpaste will be added just prior to shipment.  Place all items in a one gallon plastic bag with zipper closure and bring to the meeting.

Baby kits

            One sweater/sweatshirt (no caps/hats)

            Two gowns or sleepers

            Two T-shirts or undershirts (no onezies)

            Two washcloths

            Two diaper pins

            Six cloth diapers

            Two receiving blankets (one can be hand knitted or crocheted)

All items should be new.  Wrap items inside one of the receiving blankets and secure with both diaper pins. 

Components of any/all kits are wanted.  Put components in a plastic bag and they will be assembled at the warehouse.
