End-Time Messages from Jesus

Life At Its Best

Friday, April 24, 2015 (6:45pm)

1. God cares about everything that we go through.  And He has promised in His word that in the earth made new

the inhabitant will not say, ________________________________...because the former things have _____________________________.

(Revelation 21:4 & Isaiah 33:24)

2. Health is important to God.  For by His Apostle John He said: “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in _____________

things and be in _________________________...” (3 John 1:2)

3. Jesus, as the Good Shepherd, says that He has come that “…they have _____________________, and that they may have

it more _______________________________.” (John 10:10)

4. By trusting God with all our heart, strength, and might…He promises to that He will not inflict His people with

any of the _________________________ He brought on the Egyptians…For He is the Lord that _____________________________.

(Exodus 15:26)

5. Because of the consequence of sin (man’s choice to separate himself from God), now we are subject to toil until

the day we “…return to the __________________________.” (Genesis 3:19)

6. What did the original diet for mankind consist of (before sin)? ______________________________________________

(Genesis 3:18-19)

7. It is an interesting fact that the human life-expectancy has drastically decreased over the millennia from the

time of the early fathers till now.  The Bible records some astonishing life-spans.  How old was Methuselah when

he died? _________________________ (Genesis 5:27)

8. Before there was a Jewish Nation, Noah was instructed by God to take seven each of every __________________________

________________________ and two each of animals that are ________________________. (Genesis 7:2)

9. What are the two biblical identifiers that define a clean land-dwelling mammal? _____________________________________

_________________________________________ (Deuteronomy 14:6)

10. Does God give us an arbitrary list of things not to eat simply because He doesn’t want us to have something that

is “good?” ________________________________________________________________________________ (Psalm 84:11)

11. What are the two biblical identifiers that define a clean water-dwelling creature? ___________________________________

__________________________________________ (Leviticus 11:9-10)

12. If one chooses to eat clean meat, how is it to be prepared? _____________________________________________________________

(Leviticus 3:17)

13. We are told in multiple places that our bodies are not our own.  And Paul reminds us of this fact when he says:

“…your body is the _______________________ of the Holy Spirit…” (1 Corinthians 6:19)

14. Being that our bodies are a temple for the Holy Spirit to dwell, it is fair to say that we should treat the temple

the way He has asked us to.  This not only includes how we choose the food and substances we put into our

bodies…but also how we treat our bodies outwardly.  God desires that His temple reflect godliness, not

worldliness.  This is why He tells us: “Your beauty should not come from ____________________________________ such as

elaborate ________________________ and the wearing of _____________________________ or _____________________________.

(1 Peter 3:3-4) [Obviously what God is asking of us here is that we put Him first in our lives and that we reflect Him not only in word and deed, but also in our appearance – to different from the rest of the world]

15. What type of “adornment” does God condone? _________________________________________ (1 Peter 3:4)

16. God uses this example to illustrate what the Children of Israel looked like when they fell into rebellion and

heathen apostasy, worshipping false gods: “…she decked herself with ___________________________________ and went

after her ___________________, but Me she _____________________, declares the Lord.”

17. How does God react to one who purposely defiles “the temple?” ______________________________________________________

(1 Corinthians 3:17)

18. You’ll notice that God is very adamant about us treating our bodies with respect in every aspect.  Paul declares

that those who willingly commit sins against the body (he shares an exhaustive list), will not inherit the

____________________________________. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10) [This is not a new problem, clearly it was a major issue in the church in Paul’s day]

19. What does God say about one who is “led away” by wine and strong drink? _______________________________ (Proverbs 20:1)

20. What did Jesus say about rest and respite time? ________________________________________________________________________

(Mark 6:31)

21. God knows that making changes to our habits and lifestyle in order to align ourselves with His will is the most

difficult task that He asks of us.  However, we can achieve that victory over anything that hinders us.  Paul declares:

“I can do ____________________________ through _____________________ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)

My Response:

-I trust God with every aspect of my life and I am committed to be surrendered to Him in lifestyle, diet, habit, and appearance.  For His way, is what leads to true peace, joy, and happiness.
