End-Time Messages from Jesus

The Call Out of Babylon

Sunday, April 12, 2015 (6:45pm)

1. The descriptor word given to reference “false teaching,” “corrupt religious teaching,” and “false doctrine” in the

end of time is “Babylon.”  What does the Bible tell us about this “Babylon?” ______________________________________________

(Revelation 14:8)

2. This “Babylon” is described as a _________________________ arrayed in __________________________________________, and

adorned with ______________________ and precious ________________________ and ______________________, having in her hand a

golden cup. (Revelation 17:3-5)

3. She is described as the “Mother of ___________________________ and of the _______________________________ of the earth.”

(Revelation 17:5)

4. The world empire of “Babylon” was built in the same area where the people built a large tower soon after Noah’s

flood.  They did this because they refused to trust God’s promise.  God recognized this as rebellion in their hearts

and so He said, “Come, let Us go down and __________________________ their language…” (Genesis 11:7)

5. Therefore, the word “Babel” was used to name the area because God _________________________ their language.

(Genesis 11:9)

6. We are called to “Flee from Babylon” in order to “…save _______________________________” And “…not be ________________

__________________ in her iniquity.” (Jeremiah 51:6-7)

7. When the children of Israel were lost in the heart of Babylonian confusion, who did Ezekiel walk into the temple

and see them worshipping? ____________________________________ (Ezekiel 8:14)

8. Who were the children of Israel seen worshipping and “kneading cakes” for? _________________________________________

(Jeremiah 7:17-18)

9. Ezekiel records even further apostasy with God’s people when he says: there were “…about 25 men with their

backs toward the temple of the Lord and their faces toward the ____________________, and they were worshipping the

__________________ toward the _______________________.” (Ezekiel 8:16)

10. How did Israel’s priests profane God’s holy things? _____________________________________________________________________

_______________________________________________________________ (Ezekiel 22:26)

11. Jesus makes a strong appeal to His people that are lost in confusion, by saying: “Come ____________________________,

my people, lest you share _______________________________, and lest you receive __________________________________________.”

(Revelation 18:4)
